Here is a pretty cool line on the secondary market of timepieces based on the new Rolex deep ocean sea watch. To be clear, these watches are not affiliated with Rolex, but are simply a change in the secondary market.

 Project X Designs, the customizer Rolex based in London, whose fans include "James Bond" star Daniel Craig, has come out with three new military inspiration "furtivit茅s" models based on the classic Rolex Submariner and Rolex Explorer. New models of cool pays tribute to Agent 007, the legendary British Special Boat Service (SBS) and submariners military issue of the years 1950-1970, original models who look for a small fortune at auction.

Founded in 1940, the SBS were indeed the best known precursor of United Kingdom SAS (Special Air Service), a unit of commando elite created for secret operations. Limited to only 28 examples numbered by design, each case rear Stealth series features a variation on the badges of frog, Paddle and legendary Parachute of the SBS and its motto "By force and Guile."

Two models of Rolex Submariner in the series are the Mk III and Mk IV, one designed for the daylight operations and another more suited to the manoeuvres of the night. The Mk III pays tribute to the Submariner worn by Sean Connery as 007 in the films of the 1950s; the bond character was originally a former SBS commando. It has a glare satin case, masked-out window and Stealth to dial. Presented on the olive green NATO G10 strap, it is available exclusively via the Web site of project x for about $14,000. Stealth Mk IV (pictured above) has a darker, more severe look with a case of matte black carbon-coated and masked-out ceramic bezel. Too, it comes on a NATO strap and the price is about $ 16,000.

The third model of the series is the Rolex Explorer Stealth Mk V. created as subtle and sophisticated models Submariner, contrasting the case is satin finished before treated with a coating of solid black DLC (Diamond like carbon dioxide). Issued on the NATO G10 back with black material strap, it comes with a masked-out steel bracelet and the price is about $ 13,000. Customizations of the limited edition of original Rolex watches, created by the project x designs allow watch collectors "a certain individuality combined with a conscious appreciation of the original manufacturer's heritage."

Luxury icon and watch Switzerland Rolex Announces 18 finalists of the fifth cycle of the famous Rolex Mentor and Prot茅g茅 Arts Initiative. The finalists are seeking to become protected to mentors renowned six - dancer Trisha Brown; filmmaker Zhang Yimou; author Hans Magnus Enzensberger; music producer Brian Eno; Director Peter Sellars; and sculptor Anish Kapoor (above).
